DEMEANOR

Surprisingly human. Where other vampires tend to cast off their humanity or imitate it for fun, Louis clings to it. He puts on the airs he wore in life of a Southern gentleman by default, but he has many hats: the stern landlord, the deferential businessman, the loyal son/father, the charming gentleman. It's the repression!

No aging maximizes the psychological damage of being immortal, an important theme in canon.

DIET

Food is tasteless and not nourishing. He needs less blood than in canon (just to keep gameplay sustainable). Bloodlust can be satisfied with animal blood, but this is less nourishing. Must be fresh; dead blood will kill him. It takes a good deal of control to drink just enough from a human and not kill. Deprivation leaves him a weak husk and eventually kills him.
